Sylvie smiled. It was good to hear that there were still students that were interested in history. Perhaps there would be more students like Miss O'Rielly in her lessons. "Debate team at such a young age, that is extraordinary." Well, weren't students so accomplished now a days. She thought growing up she was rather advanced but clearing the children now were so much more advanced.

Standing up, she followed her student to the door. "Yes, I shall see you soon in class. Looking forward to hear what you think in class discussion." she smiled as she stopped at the door.

Walking back in to her office, Sylvie moved around to her desk. "Yes, I was once a student here." she smiled as she remembered her time as a Slytherin. "Part of the Slytherin House for five years, you are stay in that house, are you not?" She had heard in passing that one champion from each visiting school would be staying in each house. She kind of felt for the young lady, as she remembered how cold and dank those dungeons could be.

"I actually lived in Paris for some time before coming to Hogwarts." she replied and glanced back tot he chaise just outside her door. "I actually bought back as much as I could from France here to Hogwarts. I do think, I did a good job if I say so myself." It would be her home away from home for a while, so she did her best to make it her own.

Sitting down in her chair, she looked over to the young witch and nodded. "I would suggest Hogwarts: A History then. I have a number of editions, if you are interested in a certain one." Each volume was basically the same but small additions were added to each. "Was there anything you were looking for in particular?"
