Ellie glanced up when she heard her name. Oh, JD. When did he get in here?

"Hey." she answered. "You alright?" She wasn't. And she was sure he wasn't.

Glancing around the room at all the new faces, and even old, that were all happy and innocent. That was annoying. How could they possibly be so oblivious to the seriousness of it all? But she didn't glare this time. She was more just curious about them. About how they could remain so unaffected. It was amazing, in a sense, really.
