History & Personality:
The story of Sophia's birth may be found in the archives for Term 14 and is briefly mentioned in Hogwarts, a History. She was raised at Hogwarts by her parents for the first few years of life and became very close to her sister, even closer than most twins, during the months the twins spent with Nora Leiden following their kidnapping. You can read the details of that in the summary for Term 16. Because of their reliance on each other and their desire to interact with no one outside their close circle of relatives, if they interact with anyone but each other at all, Doyle & Rae decided to separate the girls for their schooling: Sophia to Hogwarts and Vivi to Beauxbaton. Sophia took the news in her usual stoic manner, internalizing her anguish, while Vivi threw a fit. Sophia takes after her father in terms of personality, though her sister's mischievous nature has most definitely worn off on her a bit. She was always the brains behind Vivi's big ideas to wreck havoc on the Branxton household. However, if a mess was to be made, Vivi had to do that because Sophia also inherited her father's OCD when it comes to cleanliness and personal appearance. Sophia is highly intelligent, but also kind. It's an interesting mix and I look forward to seeing how she develops away from the influence of her sister and the security of the Branxton Estate.
