Awww, the young'uns. Jake could tutor them or something! He was super smart and everything. OH, and that reminded him. Jake turned to the headmaster super quickly. "Didja hhhhear about my OWLs?! Ain't it amazing?! I was ssssuper shocked."

Jake was very proud of himself. And now he was here, so... may as well talk. But... meh.

"Oh... oops. Mmmmaybe I should come sssee you guys later to chhat?"

Eli looked at the kid. Apparently it was a lifelong affliction. "Oh. I didn't realize. Apologies." He paused, then looked back up at him. "I'm Eli. And, if you like, I think I could cure that. I studied a lot all summer." Maybe the kid didn't want to be cured. Maybe he liked talking like that. And true, Eli had yet to brew a successful antidote to ANYTHING, and in general was not gifted in potions. He had read about them, so doing them wouldn't be hard. Right?
