Finn was generally just having a random mooch around the castle. He didn't know what he was doing really, prehaps he was looking for another girl, he wasn't too sure. But when he came upon the ancient runes area, he got a little bit of a shock. There was a door, an open door, and he really didn't get why the door was open.
