He glanced up to see a blonde Ravenclaw perched up the railing of the staircase. Smart. he grinned as he climbed a few steps up the stairs. Facing the crowd and the goblet at the center of them, Salander leaned over to the Ravenclaw "Nice view." he complimented.
Grayson mentally congratulated herself on her choice of position for watching the Goblet. The railing boosted her up just high enough that she could see whoever entered their name in, over the heads of the steadily growing crowd. A smile crept onto her face as she saw one of the Ravie prefects enter his name, as she also started sort of tuning in to the conversation between another Ravenclaw and those she assumed were some of his friends. Just because it had to do with the Goblet, the Age Line, and everything that was the reason she was perched here to begin with. But partway through her idle eavesdropping, her green eyes, still on the Goblet, caught the tiny figure of Diggy Greenwood dropping a paper into the flames. "Yay Diggy!," she called out, grinning that at least one person she considered a friend was an option for champion. That would just make it that much easier to support Hogwarts, not that she wouldn't anyway.

And as she shifted her weight slightly, settling back into watching mode as he left, she heard someone speak right next to her. Swiveling her blonde head, she regarded the Slytherin boy with a bit of curiosity. "Thank you. I think it is, and apparently not too many others have thought of it. It certainly makes it a lot easier to see what's going on," she commented. Wondering a bit why he'd thought to comment on it in the first place. But then, at least he wasn't trying to get her to jump down, not that she would anyway. She wanted to see what was going on, as long as she could. So she was going to hold her position until she absolutely had to leave. And then she caught wind of the earlier conversation she'd been listening to, and turned back to the group of students. "Well, back in Harry Potter's time, Fred and George tried to sneak past the Age Line, and they ended up with really crazy long beards. That made them look hilarious, or at least that's what the stories say," she informed them. Hmm, that made her wonder if the same spells were on this Age Line. And who she'd want to see get caught and end up with a silly beard. Definitely Legend, but perhaps there were others. Oooh, and now Cameron had entered her name. Cool, another person she knew.
