He glanced down at the young boy, his eyebrow raising once more, "Oh, I'm old enough, all right, but I'm not scared. It's just not something that interests me. I'm more of a 'you're doing it wrong, I throw popcorn at you' type person." Why were multiple people finding it so hard to believe that he just didn't want to be in this Tournament? "Besides, if Sabel gets stuck, who's going to be his brainy friend who looks the answer up in the library? Morgana knows he only opens a book if it has hobbits in it."

Kellen wrinkled his nose at Arya's statement, "Tempt is a strong word, Miss Lovegoods. I prefer 'loosely encourage to follow a less-than-wise course of action'."

And then she had to go and mention dying. That wasn't a good way to get young children to take themselves as the famous Harry Potter and go for the cup, now was it? Kellen poked her in the side of the head, "Come on, Arya, Sabel isn't going to die. He might loose a limb though, in a flailing attempt to escape a dragon while puttering around on Horace." Better hope that challenge isn't getting recycled, Dakest.

"Yes...thank you...for your support." Was that the proper thing to say? Though it was better than calling Kellen a coward. Ingenious at the art of avoidance, but not a coward.

And Kellen cleared that fact up right quick. A small smile touched the corners of his lips as he clapped Kellen on the shoulder. "My own personal bookie. And I'm sure you know all the ins-and-outs of that challenge. Though, Headmaster Tate doesn't really seem to be one to recycle anything." Put to good use in a different matter, but in such a way it seemed completely new. "Or rather he's too efficient at it." One of the two.

His eyes flicked to Arya at her less than encouraging words and unapproving look that brought a slight pang of guilt to settle in his stomach, his mood dropping almost instantly. "They die less than in everyday life. And most of them don't risk a thing." He couldn't keep the slight pointedness of the statement out of his voice. It wasn't that he was trying to test fate, at least, if that was the case he hoped one of his friends would hit him over the head real soon with something hard.

Haha. Itchy beard, "I think you'd be right, Arya" he said, though, he had no one to ask how itchy it would be, because whatever Dodson had was not a beard yet.

Perhaps the Durmstrang Headmaster. Yeah, that one looks like he'd had a beard or two in his lifetime.

He eyed the older Ravenclaw...wait...the only Ravenclaw there, "You wouldn't?" well, that was odd, "Eternal glory and all that stuff doesn't attract you?" it kind of did attract the young Lockhart. He was, after all, going to be Aaron's representative when Aaron ruled the world.

He couldn't help to laugh, though, at the Ravenclaw's comments, "You're funny" yes, thanks for stating the obvious Treyen.

His eyes went back to Arya, "But, wouldn't you like to know what will happen to the ones who aren't old enough?" he asked, slightly puzzled, because he would like to know...not try, just know. He didn't want to end up with a tail.

But his eyes couldn't believe what just happened. Fletch had entered his name! Fletch! Sir Fletcher! Sir Sticky Beard! --Hey! That was someone he could ask about that beard thing without having to threat his own life with the other Headmaster, the scary looking one. Except...he could also be in danger around Fletcher. Eh, well, he better not get chosen, the older Hufflepuff knows nothing of history.

"A Hufflepuff died in the tournament" he pointed out, mostly to Arya. The boy named Cedric from where Harry Potter won at the expenses of a Huffie boy.

Treyen smiled at the Gryffindor boy, "You're welcome..." the Huffie frowned, "...I...don't know your name" but he could be Gryffie boy. No matter.

"A different choice of words doesn't change your intent, Mr. Stern." She poked her tongue out at him playfully.

Tilting her head to the side, she watched as another person put their name into the cup. "I would like to see what would happen, but I don't think anyone will try." She wanted to see the beard though, it had to be really long. Maybe even touching the ground.

Arya ran her fingers through the side of her hair when Kellen poked her and glanced up at him with a slight frown. "I don't want him to loose a limb either." One armed hugs just weren't the same. Was he trying to be funny about the dragon thing? He wasn't, she knew just how dangerous they were.

SEE!?

Treyen knew what she was talking about. "....And if a Hufflepuff can get killed so can you." Cause puffs where awesome. She heard about the boy that died in the last tournament with Harry Potter. Stories man, she had heard lots.

"Most of them don't go to Hogwarts." She said pointedly. The fact that they were at Hogwarts made all the difference. Strange things happened in this castle, he should know that.
