She smiled at her, reached across Adam with her arm, and offered the girl a gentle handshake. "Hi, I'm Kurumi," she smiled with a twinkle in her violet eyes. "I'm a first year student too." She then reached for her box of homemade cookies she had set down on the ground."Cookie?"

"I would LOVE a cookie!" she said, laughing. "Nice to meet you Kurumi. I am Sophia." she said, shaking her hand.

"Actually, I still live in Italy." she said. "I fly home for summer, and I come here for school." she said. "It is a very long way from home." she said, with a sigh. "So, where are both of you from?" she asked. "I am actually from a small town called Venice. It is also known as the City on the Water." she said. "It is all built on a river. No roads." she said, smiling.
