Thought I should let you know in case you were beginning to wonder why I wasn't here. You must've noticed, huh?" He gave Margaret a gentle prod with his elbow, though without really touching her.

"I didn't go to Beauxbatons or anything, though. I was somewhere in South America. Best time of my life," he spoke rapidly, beginning to eye the students he assumed were foreign. "Looks like you're developing a French crush, am I right?" he asked Louvain with a wink.

"You look just fine to me, no more devastated than you are usually," Teagan shot back, though his voice didn't carry one drop of venom in it. He wouldn't have known how to make use of it anyways. "Not bright enough? Why? Are you going to put me in some kind of danger?" He asked with glittering eyes. He shrugged at her next comment. "Can't argue on that point, to each his or her own mouth. But the way in which you speak of people affects those people more than you think. Say nice things and nice things will happen to you in return. You should try it some time!" He finished off with an energetic nod.
Though her eyes were on her plate, Margaret found herself shrugging slightly as the alien boy mentioned classes with the foreign students. She wasn't that excited about classes all together, so she didn't really care if there were extra people inside the rooms or not, just as long as they kept quiet. It was as Teagan was speaking, however, that he managed to make the girl speak, and, this time, for a greater length and not as rudely as before. "No, I did not notice," She tidied her fork and knife and looked at Teagan as she spoke. "This is my first year at Hogwarts. My parents thought I had had enough home schooling and decided to ship me off here," She shrugged once again and eyed the ceiling with a risen eyebrow. Night sky, was it? She had to admit that it was a fine piece of magic.

Margaret didn't get to study the ceiling for long though, nor trying to find some crack in the magic, as Teagan made her look down once more. "You don't know what I am like usually," She pointed out, definitely not taken aback by his change of tone. "And no, I am not. I do not intend on having any sort of adventures anyway and even if I did, why would I carry you with me?" She straightened up. "Pfft! People only get affected if they allow themselves to be and, either way, that whole karma thing... I don't believe it."

Oh boy this girl was a miracle or an atom collision about to happen. She hasn't met a student to have the capacity of a dictionary of being mean. "You are right" she agreed with Margrat, "I would not comprehend how a single level mind would work" she stuck her tongue out Margrat but wasn't sure whether to duck herself or go help protect Teagan from another .. ehh . verbal attack. Now she was starting to have faint, very faint thoughts that the sorting may made the mistake of sending her to Ravenclaw instead of Slytherin. Maybe, a little.
What kind of a comeback was that? None that matched Margaret's intellectual skills, that's for sure. Merlin, she'd daresay that even Maximillian knew better. Actually, where was the boy? Oh no, never mind, better not know. She was badly enough without him to make the picture even worse. "Better have a single level mind than none at all, Louvain," She replied in an extremely collected tone.

but you know what? It
was real. It did happen.
We spent time here. We made
friends here. That's a part of us.
Cause
Hogwarts is bigger than any of us, of any of it's founders,
and it's going to be around long after we're gone.
Maybe we'll see our
kids come here one day.
That's the thing about
Hogwarts.
No matter
how long you're away from it, there's always a way back.
