She shrugged and ate the last bits of vegetables in her plate, ignoring the conversation that the other two were exchanging. This time she knew she was being rude, knew it extremely well. However, the girl was annoying her immensely and she could only think of rudeness as a way to quiet her down, and if that was the only way, then Merlin, she would take it gladly.
And there she goes again...
Oh boy this girl was a miracle or an atom collision about to happen. She hasn't met a student to have the capacity of a dictionary of being mean. "You are right" she agreed with Margrat, "I would not comprehend how a single level mind would work" she stuck her tongue out Margrat but wasn't sure whether to duck herself or go help protect Teagan from another .. ehh . verbal attack. Now she was starting to have faint, very faint thoughts that the sorting may made the mistake of sending her to Ravenclaw instead of Slytherin. Maybe, a little.

He listened to Louvain with interest as she talked about the exchange students. "That's fascinating! Wonder if they'll be allowed to go to classes with the rest of us? That would make things more interesting, no?" He looked a question at both girls. "Incidentally, I was on exchange last year. Thought I should let you know in case you were beginning to wonder why I wasn't here. You must've noticed, huh?" He gave Margaret a gentle prod with his elbow, though without really touching her.
"I didn't go to Beauxbatons or anything, though. I was somewhere in South America. Best time of my life," he spoke rapidly, beginning to eye the students he assumed were foreign. "Looks like you're developing a French crush, am I right?" he asked Louvain with a wink.
She blushed furiously now, how did he notice that? Wasn't she being careful? She took a strand of her blonde hair and stuck it behind one ear, "maybe just a little" she dropped her eyes down to her plate, it wasn't the french as much as one french boy, deciding to change the subject she clung to his discussion of exchange students.
"That must have been a beautiful experience" she hasn't know the lad last year so she wasn't sure she missed him. Oops. "Was it any different than Hogwarts? I mean the school you went to? did they have good food?"
