Shame those students had to interrupt her conversation with him, or she might have actually found that out on her own. Or even learned his name. Well technically they didn't interrupt, but she wasn't about to let them carry on the way they were. So she interrupted them . . . and her lovely conversation. And he still owed her that ice cream too. Pout.
She'll just have to blame it on him for getting sick; he didn't buy her ice cream. Still leaning forward in his seat to be able to make out the face of the woman sitting next to the Peppermint!Woman from Sugarplum's, Jeremy felt a pair of eyes on him. Was there anybody else who recognized him? Or just somebody who thought he was interesting to look at?
It turned out to be a little of both options probably. (Hehe.) The Peppermint!Woman finally seemed to have noticed him...and apparently recognized too, judging by the way she was staring at him anyways. Should he wave? He was very tempted to. It wasn't embarrassing. Plus, he sort of still owed her that ice cream. According to her he did. And he had gone along with it so, he DID owe her ice cream. Even though, SHE had been the one to leave him standing at the shelf to go scold some students.
Now, what had he actually been considering? Oh, right, to wave or not to wave? Yes, definitely wave. With a mouthed "Hi!" and a grin he made sure that she was looking his way before giving her a short wave. She would have to ask for her name later...too far away down at the Staff Table right now. Though, neither of the two seemed very pleased to see him, nor keen on talking to him. Was that hostility he could feel in the air? However, more to each other than to him. Or so he hoped.
First turning to the black-haired woman to his right he grinned at her once again - even though, he HAD noticed she was not - and took her offered hand to give it a soft shake. "Nice to meet you, Kimber. Librarian, really? That's great." And it was...because, library obviously meant lots of books. But, he couldn't dwell on that any further because he didn't want the other woman to think he was ignoring her.
Who was not offering her hand. Which was why he slowly retract his hand he had already began to offer her. Err. "Nice to meet you too, Professor...?" Because she had not introduced herself. No matter if she had done it on purpose or not, he was persistent. "But do call me Jeremy." Professor Zookara still sounded too weird. Quote:

He seemed nice. At least HE seemed to be actually pleased with seeing him. "I'd appreciate it if you called me Jeremy. Everyo-" He was however interrupted by... Text Cut: Cameron and Tate Quote:

*swooooooooooooon*
He was absolutely gorgeous. So gorgeous in fact, that she left her table and like 15 First years to go and talk to him. NEVER in her life had Cameron been so suck-up as to go and talk to the teachers at the staff table before classes had even started.
It was a first.
Man.. he was droolworthy.
Sparkly eyes.. a kind face.. and all manleh..
She hadn't even realised she was right in front of him AND staring.
Erm..
*MEEEEEEEP* "...*coughAHEMcough*Ohhhhhhh... goodevening Professor." That was subtle right? Yep. Oh merlinnnn..
Oh and he had curlyish hair. Oh man.. Cameron sighhhhhhed. She prayed, hoped, wished - BEGGED that he was taking ANY class she was taking.
Oh man.. Quote:

"Please return to your seat." ...a girl. A girl who was staring at her. And intentely. Should he be worried? Did he have something on his shirt? It was on the way of looking at his own shirt that his hazel eyes rested on the girl's chest for a moment. Oh, Prefect badge. The girl was a Prefect. How nice. Though, the way she was staring at him was...a little...erm...discomforting. She was a student after all. "Why hello, Miss...?" An introduction on her part would have been nice. A good way to start a conversation. Weird girl. Though, the Headmaster saved both of them more awkwardness by ordering her back to her house table. Good. Not that he didn't like her or anything but she was a little weird. Bye, weird girl. For now.
O_____o
Still a little taken aback by the weird girl, Jeremy half-listened to the Headmaster's speech and applauded at the right parts (hopefully) before returning his attention to the two women beside him. Who seemed to be liking each other less and less by the minute. What a nice distraction. Not.
The man a few seats down (Sage) might prove to be a better one. He seemed to be really nervous about something. And was he throwing anxious glances at the noname-woman next to him? Interesting...very interesting.
