But then I hadn't really come here before last term, as a third year. This term definitely seems like it might be more advantageous to try though," she said to the other girl, honestly. Finding the curious look she'd been given highly entertaining. Not to mention she figured being honest now didn't really damage her earlier comment. It was almost like she had power right now, and it was mostly just because she knew the old stories backwards and forwards. And last term there hadn't been Finn and Jimmy to talk to about things. All the boys she'd known had been in the other houses, mostly.
So the younger girl hadn't tried going into the boys dormitory. Maybe she would have to atempt it herself....or have another one of the students to try for her. Yes, that sounded like a better plan. She had promised Zitnik that she would behave. The young woman gave the girl a small nod.
"Thank you for the information. I'll see you around the castle." Especially since the two would be in the same housing together. She watched the girl leave to speak with someone else before turning her attention back to the boys surrounding her.

"Oh I'm Daniel Evans" he introduced sticking out his hand for the girl to shake. Hopefully she would and it wouldn't just hang there in the middle of the air.
" So,..um..looking forward to the tournament?" he asked. He wasn't sure what to say now that introductions were over.
"Its nice to meet you, Daniel. That is a nice name." She wasn't just being nice to the boy either. Daniel was a wonderful name for a boy. Extending her hand, she gave his a small shake.
"I am looking forvard to the tournament. I hope to meet some of your champions soon." Sparing the hall a quick glance, she turned back to the boy.
"vhat year are you." Quote:

"Long and tiring..." he repeated softly to himself more than to Aleksandra, thinking of just how long and tiring the walk up to the Ravenclaw tower may be. Chuckling, Noel made a quick glance up to the long table in the front, first spotting his Headmistress before seeing the man in the middle stand up. Hmm, what was this? A speech? He supposed that it would have been appropriate, but really, he just wanted to food to come.
Clapping as his Headmistress's name was announced, he sat quietly in almost an impatient way, waiting for it to be ov- FOOD! "Très magnifique!" Oh, delicious food. Delicious, french food. He had spotted a few dishes he recognized from his own school plated out beautifully along the table, as well as others he'd never seen before. "Ladies first." he gestured for Aleksandra to take whatever, his own eyes shining as it landed on one of his favorite dishes. But, it was always ladies first.
Ah, a speech! Turning away from Noel momentarily, she listened to the Hogvartians Headmaster make his speech. She wasn't too interested in the speech, but maybe it would lead to them dining soon. Her eyes glided across the table as the man spoke, taking in every one of the professors who would tought at the school.
FOOD!!
Her eyes scanned the table as the food magically appeared before them. She could see why they put so much work into decorating their hall, the food looked and smelled magnificent. Sandra wasn't sure where she wanted to start. Smiling sweetly at Noel, she nodded and began to help herself to a few dishes.
"I'm glad to be dining with such a gentleman." Done adding food to her plate, most that where common to her home country, she took a sip of her drink.
"You may call me Sandra if you like, Noel."
Sandra's attention was diverted when the students started behaving like animals and one of the professors had to come over and handle the situation. She was not surprised by their behavior, just the fact that they were acting this way so soon, the term hadn't even begun. None of the surprise showed on her face, however, her expression nonchalant.
"The children at this school are not vell behaved." She commented, inclining her head towards the group. They certainly did not act like that at Durmstrang.
