Tristan turned to Lisette as she approached him, his eyebrows raising and his eyes widened just very slightly as she placed the ring he'd given her earlier in his hand. He gazed at it as it sparkled in his hand for a moment before looking up again as Lisette apologized, explaining that the ring was his, that it had never been hers.
He was quiet, at a loss of words, and suddenly he couldn't help feeling a little bad, his heart sinking slowly. "Thank you," was all he was able to mutter quietly, watching as she walked away from his side.
He'd miss her, he knew that much - the new version of her, anyway, not the thief they saw through their memories; and he hoped they could have a chance to start over once they were back in the real world, but... well, there was no real way to tell.
For now, he just wanted to get out of this room, to start a new life and regain his magical skills.
