Risu slipped into the Great Hall through a door behind the raised staff table just as the headmaster was welcoming the Durmstrang delegation. Among the loud volume of their entrance and the appreciative reception of the Hogwarts teachers and students, he hurried to his seat at the left edge of the table and sat down.
Among the correspondence he had received over the term break was a lengthy letter, addressed to all Hogwarts teaching staff members, explaining the logistics of the upcoming Triwizard Tournament. Risu had dutifully read it, but did not, he had to admit to himself even as the Beauxbatons students filed in, thought about the matter much further. As the guests seated themselves, he tried to remember what they would be doing outside the times of the Tournament tasks. Would they follow the regular lessons at Hogwarts?
Pouring himself a glass of pumpkin juice, he leaned back in the comfortable chair and watched the by-now familiar flow of students to and from the staff table as they greeted old and new professors. Quite a few, Risu noted, seemed to be of the latter variety.
