She just nodded as the girl chose to call her by her last name, though. That was new, but at least she hadn't said anything. She figured it had gone through the older girl's head, at least. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Aleksandra. I hope our House meets your expectations, and I look forward to the Tournament." Watching it, at least. She knew the rules, even if only because of the stories. And she wasn't about to bring Krum, or anything else from way back then up in conversation now. Aleksandra didn't look like someone who would appreciate a fourteen year old peppering her with questions about old stories, or even teasing if she didn't know them.
So she thought about waiting to see if the Beauxbatons boy would respond to her bizarre earlier introduction. Or just going back to her seat like a freak. Or looking for anyone to distract her from the awkwardness. Quote:

She still thought it fit her. "It's nice to meet you too, Noel. And you're welcome. I just thought it seemed like the polite thing to do, yknow?," she said, before smiling again as he offered to make a seat for her. "No, that's fine. I have a seat a little ways down, I just thought I'd come over and welcome you both. Since it seems like you'll be with us for a while," she responded, graciously turning the offer down. Uncle Nathaniel would be proud. "And besides, I think Aleksandra would rather I just go back to my seat anyway." So she could go back to the boys and pretending little old her didn't exist. Luckily, Grayson didn't mind. She could stay away from the Durmstrang girl easily, unless she did something to warrant a prank. That would take a lot of planning, though. And if Aleksandra ended up the Durmstrang champion, that would definitely mean no pranks. Quote:

Smirking, he wandered along the ravenclaw table until he found her, and oooh she was sitting with another rather nice girl. How fortuante for him. "Hey Grayson." He grinned, as he sat down beside her. Oh, and then Finn was over by her, and she grinned at him. Maybe she wouldn't be in as much of a hurry to go back to her original seat. "Hi Finn. So you're gonna be an eagle with me?," she asked, glancing down the table again. So she got both Jimmy and Finn. Definitely some fun to be had now. "Have you met the Durmstrang and Beauxbatons students yet?" Yep, she'd be gracious and bring them up first, before anything else. Besides, at least it meant she had someone to talk to, even if she had a feeling Finn would pay just as much attention to Aleksandra. She had no claim on him, other than maybe a partner in crime. Or whatever she could call him, after the earlier events. he was definitely a something. And it was seriously going to be fun having him in Ravenclaw. They were seriously going to be getting into some trouble this term, Triwizard Tournament or no.
