Having enjoyed a thoroughly satisfying meal and a somewhat average drink, Salander decided to take an after-meals walk and check out the rest of the Great Hall. He too was new around Hogwarts and was curious at what the other three tables-- three houses-- were all about.
He decided to look for his young friend Daniel at the Ravenclaw table when instead he spotted some of the guests from Durmstrang and Beauxbaton-- as well as a certain Hufflepuff fellow who shared Salander's taste for good drinks.
Well, if a Puff can just pop in on the Claws, I sure can slyther-in and make myself at home. Quote:

It wasn't that he was exactly bored at the Hufflepuff table, although he totally was, it was just that... Fletcher thought getting to know the foreign students a little more closely might just be worth his time.
So with the air of taking a casual stroll on a sunny day, he wandered over to the Ravenclaw table and slipped onto the bench beside a rather good-looking CLEARLY new student.
"Oh, I see the food hasn't arrived yet here either? Hmm," he mentioned casually, tapping his long fingers on the table. "What a shame."
But at least he had a good-looking lil dessert to stare at right cherrrrr, booya.

Smoothly, he slips into the seat next to the Durmstrang beauty on the other side of Fletcher.
"Excuse me, I dont mean to interrupt...." he started
"... but I couldnt help overhearing the that the meals have not come for the Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs?" he said putting on the most concerned look he could muster
"Theres a great selection over at our housetable, you're free to come sit with us, take as much as you wish." he smiled looking more at the Durmstrang brunette than the Hufflepuff. Who happens to be brunette too. Meh.
"Oh where are my manners, my name is Salander by the way, from the house of Slytherin." he said nodding at the Durmstrang beauty and offering his hand.

Clearing his throat, he gently let his wrists lean against table, keeping up a nice posture at the same time. The Great Hall was bigger than he expected...and he couldn't keep his gaze away from the ceiling. Now that he thought about it, the castle was huge! How far did he need to walk again to get to this Ravenclaw room?
Salander turned to look at the other guest. He wasnt of the habit to just start up a conversation with any fellow, unless the dude had something he wanted, but looking at the awe on the Beauxbaton's face and the his general demeanor got Salander thinking,
Hey why not, he's a stranger in a strange place as I am. He looked up at the charmed ceiling in admiration
"Its great isnt? Looks so real." he started, trying to make small convo with the Frenchman.
