"Oh..alright," Simon replied slowly and hesitantly returning his arms to his sides, the boy not wanting to push her into accepting his help even as it appeared more and more necessary. He meerly watched as Norah tried to manuever them all as she even tried to grab hold of another. When she mentioned she was the same year he was almost tempted to ask which house but her next statement stopped him for it was very likely she didn't know.

"Ah so you're a transfer," he asked before catching her pleading look and quickly but gently taking hold of the top half of the pile of texts. "There you are...the downfalls of not being able to use magic or having an adult around who can," he mused with a chuckle.

"Aww I'm sure you'll be fine," the gryffindor tried to reassure her. "I daresay they'll be a whole bunch of first years more nervous and less experienced then yourself."
