Beryl felt more reassured when August smiled. It was weird to her, someone who believed in fate and such, that she and August hadn't talked more before this and he barely knew anything about her. In her mind, it was like, the people who were compatible as friends or more than friends or coworkers found each other and that was how it was. She shook her head at his question. "No wand. All I know is my name, Beryl Robins, that I like this band.... The Weird Sisters," she continued, looking down at her shirt for support of getting the name of the band right, "....and I went to one of their concerts.... at one point in time, and this ring on my finger was my grandmothers," she finished finally, putting her right hand up to show her the sparkling piece of jewelry on her fourth finger.
