The whole idea of the Harry/Ginny relationship was the fear of Ron ruining their special moments. Ron was the best friend trying to protect his little sister all at the same time but what significance does George Weasley have with it? You saw how badly they screwed up HBP with Harry/Ginny because of the simple changes that took place. They didn't have a relationship to even begin with after that awful "kiss."
FINALLY, another person who feels like the changes being made aren't little insignificant changes that normally wouldn't make a difference, and who also thinks the Harry/Ginny HBP kiss was a colossal FAIL! Ginny, IMNSHO, is almost portrayed as a Mary Sue in the films.
