There would probably be mice somewhere else in the store. She decided to stray from the subject and just introduce herself like he did.
"Nice to meet you," she said with a smile, extending her hand, "I'm Ella Westwick. What year are you in?" she asked.
He'd ask at the counter about mice, he figured. "They mostly are nocturnal right? So, wouldn't they mostly eat at night?" He wasn't sure. Not an owl expert by any means.
He'd take some pellets from here and call that square.
"Nice to meet you too Ella, I'm going into my 5th year. I guess you're at Hogwarts? I'm only starting there this term." It'd make an interesting change from tutors that was for sure.
