Actually, what was she really wanted was to do the latter but, her pride was trying to convince her the former was the best course of action. She settled on a compromise and merely let her weight fall back on him as she pulled his arms tighter around her. She leaned her head against him and closed her eyes. "It doesn't matter that you don't think it's natural to act like nothing's happened.
