As it is past midnight in the UK, today, Tuesday August 16th, marks actress Helen McCrory's birthday. Helen, best known to Harry Potter film fans as playing Malfoy matriarch Narcissa in Half-Blood Prince and the upcoming Deathly Hallows (the first promo of her from which can be found here), turns 42 years old today.

A bit of trivia about Helen: she was originally cast as Bellatrix Lestrange in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, but, due to her pregnancy at the time, had to drop out of the picture. That role, of course, went to Helena Bonham Carter.
