"I've been great." he beamed at the young girl. That was most definitely an understatement. He was beyond great. Finding your mother should qualify as beyond great. Most definitely. "How have you been?" he asked her in return. "Oh.. nothing." he smirked at her and stopped all of the laughing. There was such a thing as too much laughter. Well, sometimes. "Am not!" he protested jokingly. "Maybe when it comes to big words like Transfiguration, but i'm not completely illiterate!" he replied, playing along with her little joke.
