Hoping no one heard her thunderous stomach she smiled at the person talking to her as she took another bite and grabbed a napkin. Once finished chewing, she finally spoke, "Hello, that's me...the new person..." she said with a tip of her glass as well towards the new face..."I'm Iridesca...and you all are?" she said in between bites. She was starving but trying hard to remember her manners just in case she made the wrong impression, she quickly said, "Sorry, I'm starving...I feel like this is the first time I've come up for air this week let alone food." she said with a shrug of her shoulders hoping that explained her ravenous attack on the donut in her hand.
