I was wondering that too; with Voldemort taking the wand being at the end of Chapter 24, it then "chronologically", there would the conversation (IMO).
Plus, without the "What do you know about the Deathly Hallows" conversation...it won't make a whole lot of sense to the audience why Voldemort taking a wand from Dumbledore is such a big deal.
I can see the end now: we hear Ollivander saying "If its true, you really don't stand a chance", then Harry sees Voldemort find the Elder Wand.
Irony makes for a great movie. =P
