Kristi was more than relieved when the mass of aurors left after Marcella's little speech. She had no idea her friend could be so gracious. Perhaps she was just overcompensating. After they left, Kristi turned to Marcella and Nick. "You can take Snape's bedroom, if you want, Marce. And there's a bedroom next to mine that you can have, Nick. Dumbledore extended the hallway so there's rooms for the guards, too," she rolled her eyes.
They were perfectly safe here so long as they didn't venture outside. Besides, what more could Tonks, Moody, and Black do than she Nick and Marce were capable of? This led Kristi to believe that the they were here more to keep them from doing anything like trying to rescue Snape than to prevent menace from outside.
