Cameron had spent a summer avoiding anything to do with her parents and spending it doing more travelling than she cared to think about. Wales, Florida, New York .. and all parties. Merlin. When had she collected so many friends?
She sighed and yawned as she stepped onto the last step, readjusting the long, thin, bulky parcel under her arm. She'd spend the last three weeks of her holidays in the Leaky, working, trying to scrap together some money to pay for school and her lodgings. It hadn't exactly been fun, but it had been better than at home or at least with the silent treatment and ignorance that went on when she was at home. She pulled a face and shoved her hands into her pockets which were occupied by her diminishing gold supply.
She took a left towards the fireplaces and sighed, looking for a free one. She'd been trying to procrastinate the event, but she was running out of cash and she'd heard of a small store that bought 2nd hand brooms. Moving her parcel to the other hand, she walked toward an empty one when a tall figure stepped out from the same floo, nursing his head and coughing profusely. She grinned.
"Hairball?" She asked with a smirk before she dropped her broom and enveloped him in a bear hug.
"Missed you," She mumbled, pouting.
"Where've you beeeen! I haven't seen you since.. Trixie's.. party thing.." Which was weird enough as it was. What with them fighting over who would get her support.
