"Come on, Lily, be nice to the poor guy," Sirius said. "You know he was only practicing Defense tactics."

"Your defense tactics," Lily said, eyes narrowed. "Have ruined my lounge, Sirius Black."

"His," Sirius said, cheerfully.

"WHAT?" James's jaw dropped open. "It was your idea! I told you something would go wrong. It always does, when -"

"But you were the one who -" Sirius began.

"Oh, forget it," Lily said, exasperated.
