"It's not just that...like, I felt like I didn't know you anymore when you went after Mark..." Ling commented flatly, examining the raggedy sleeve of his robes. He wasn't feeling quite as ticked off at her as he originally did but he couldn't help it. He should have been used to disappointments by now but it still hurt on the inside. Emmy was probably the first and only girl he had really had his eyes on at Hogwarts. She was very pretty but she also seemed so intellectual and pursuing. After she had met Mark, she seemed to turn into a ditz and cared only about him; he not only felt bad for himself but it was depressing to watch a smart girl go through that and do a 180.
