Ling was still frowning, but it lessened slightly as she gave him the explanation. Maybe it was him but it didn't feel like he was pressuring Emmy that night. It seemed like she had wanted to snog him just as badly as he did with her but maybe he might have been caught up in the moment. Still, it could have been the best night of his life so far if it hadn't been ruined by Mark's existence. He was sick of always being the second option, especially when it came to who girls preferred.

"I didn't think my fourth year was gonna end so crappy..." was all he had to say.
