Emmy wandered along the corridor, looking in each compartment to see if any of her friends were within.
No such luck.
With a sigh, she moved on to the next compartment, which housed just one student.
Sliding the door open, she sidled in, closed the door and sat down opposite him.

"Oh!" she gasped, almost leaping out of her seat in shock, as she recognised...
"Ling! You look...different." She considered backing straight out again, but thought better of it. She needed to find out his side of the story, and she wouldn't do that from the other end of a railway carriage.
