He rolled his eyes back at Brody because he wanted to. "It doesn't matter. I was just saying." But he still wanted Violet to go away so that he could give Brody her present. Normally he wouldn't be like this, but it was her birthday, and he wanted a moment alone with her to give her her present.
"Do you want your present now?" he asked randomly to change the subject.
She rolled her eyes at Brody.
"I don't want a Brody make over!" she whined.
"And don't call me sweetheart only my mum can call me that." she added. Hmph.
She crossed her arms as Torin spoke.
"Whatever, I don't care anymore." she said dramatically.
"I guess I'm just going to have to visit you every few years then, since you adopting me and me living with you is out of the question."
So it was Brody's birthday. Normally, Violet would've wished anyone a happy birthday, hug the life out of them, and ask if sugar was involved. But she didn't have the urge to do that instead she just rolled her eyes/
