She hated to see Brody upset, and today was meant to be a good day. The kind that Brody would remember, as cheerful.

"Isn't that amazing? I have glitter, too." Gold emptied a whole bottle of sparkly glitter, on the floor. "You're going to have to clean this up with magic, since you're of age, now." She stuck her tongue out at Brody. It was meant to be a joke but, you know, Brody was of age.
