Nia looked up from where she was helping herself to some sausages to see someone talking to her. Well, she assumed the younger girl was talking to her, since she was the thoughtful one in the close vicinity.
"Just thinking about it being the end of term," she said. "And the changes it brings." For others as well as herself. She brightened up at the question about Quidditch. "Of course," she replied with a chuckle. "I'm the Captain." It'd be a bit silly being Captain and not being on the team, afterall. "Did you see the games this term?"
Emily smiled at her and her eyes started to concentrate on the other girls.
"Yeah, you must have older friends leaving I suppose."
Emily then thought of how to answer the other question. She hadn't seen any of the games...
"Well... I... I didn't exactly see any of them actually..." emily said suddenly looking a little more thoughtful than she had been before, how to explain this?
"You see... My twin sister died this year, and then I got a letter from one my aunt with many greats that I was to be an important person in my mothers families gypsy village..." Emily then realized how ridiculous the last part sounded, then explained
"sorry It's hard to explain the last bit except that my family is different."
Emily scooped her makeshift vegetarian shepherds pie into her mouth, the potatoes andthe corn battling on her taste buds.
"However, I was thinking of trying out next year, I am very good at flying and i think I could make a fair beater." Emily smiled at her, another toothy grin. Emily had finally mastered the art of a gorgeous heart breaking smile and finally transitioned out of the awkward duck-like smile.
