He then waited ten minutes. "We should take it off the flame now. We don't want to heat up the soda." he said. He aimed his wand at the fire under the cauldron. "Finite." he said. The flame disappeared.

"And now for the soda." he said. He slowly poured in the soda. "Alright. That's done." he said after the last drop was added. "You want to add the other two ingredients? Then I can stir it." he suggested.

He then updated the parchment. They were making such great progress. The potion would be done before they knew it.
