“OK, now for the blood products, Why do I stir the potion quickly, no more then 7 times, while you add firstly the Bloodroot Juice, then it’s membrane and Re’em blood? We will have to move quickly as we don’t want to over stir the potion, but it still has to be moving fast as we add them!”
Patroclus placed the stirrer back into the potion, and cried “Go!” He began to whip the potion till it was a swirling twirling golden whirlpool!

Potions Final
Ingredients- Ginger – ½ dram
- Mint – one whole sprig
- Chamomile – 1 dram
- Flat Lemonade – 1/2 litre
- Honey – 1 teaspoon
- Green Tea – 1 dram
- Moonstone - powered, 1 dram, divided into 3 increments of 1 scruple
- Hellebore - flower and root, ground
- Fluxweed - leaves of
4 2 plants, approximately 4 scruples, and 2 measures of Oil - Bloodroot - juice and membrane of a single bloodroot
- Pomegranate – 6 seeds
- Re'em Blood – 3 drops
- Water – 1 litre
Procedure - Find Partner
- Select Ingredients
- Light cauldron
- Measure out 1 litre of water, add to heat, allow to boil
- Collect ingredients
- Add ginger, stir clockwise
- Add chamomile, stir clockwise
- Add green tea, stir clockwise
- Add moonstone, stir clockwise
- Add hellebore, stir clockwise
- Shake Lemonade and leave lidless so to allow for all bubbles to escape.
- Return cauldron to boil, dark orange colour present
- Add honey, Golden Amber colour present
- Add Pomegranate seeds, one at a time, stirring counter-clockwise after each
- Add Fluxweed leaves, stir counter-clockwise twice
- Add Mint, stir counter-clockwise
- Add Fluxweed oil, stir counter-clockwise twice
- Turn heat down, allowing potion to cool slightly
- Stirring no more 7 times clockwise, add the Bloodroot, juice and membrane first to the swirling mixture, then the Re’em Blood.
Mina smiled and nodded as she took in what Patroclus was saying. "Sounds perfect to me," she replied as she reached for the blood products. "I'm sure the next few steps will be done in quick sesquence and then the lemonade should be ready to add and it will be time for the true test." Glancing to the caldron and then Patroclus, she nodded as she added the bloodroot juice quickly as he stirred, followed by the membrane and finally the Re'em blood.
The potion was slightly streaming and she thought that was a good sign, the solution seemed to be cooling well and they were really in the home stretch now.
"Okay, you know it looks good now. Maybe once we add the lemonade, we stir it once clockwise and then twice counter-clockwise, allow it to cool and then strain it?" she suggested. They did need it to be pretty cool to serve it to the kneazle and she doubted the kneazle would be too happy to get a leave caught in its throat.
Reaching for the lemonade, she held it over the cauldron and tipped its contents into the cauldron on her partners count.

- Green Tea – 1 dram
- Moonstone - powered, 1 dram, divided into 3 increments of 1 scruple
- Hellebore - flower and root, ground
- Fluxweed - leaves of
42 plants, approximately 84 scruples; 2 units of oil - Bloodroot - juice and membrance of a single bloodroot
- Promegrante - 6 seeds
- Re'em Blood – 3 drops
- Water – 1 litre
Procedure- Check workstation
- Determine needed ingredients
- Set up cauldron
- Measure out 1 litre of water, add to cauldron, allow to boil
- Gather ingredients
- Determine measurements and prepare said ingredients
- Add ginger, stir clockwise
- Add chamomile, stir clockwise
- Add green tea, stir clockwise
- Add moonstone, stir clockwise
- Add hellebore, stir clockwise
- Shake Lemonade and leave lidless so to allow for all bubbles to escape.
- Return cauldron to simmer, burnt orange colour present
- Add honey, golden amber colour present
- Add Pomegranate seeds, one at a time, stirring counter-clockwise after each
- Add Fluxweed leaves, stir counter-clockwise twice
- Add Mint, stir counter-clockwise
- Add Fluxweed oil, stir counter-clockwise twice
- Turn heat down, allowing potion to cool slightly
- Stirring no more than 7 times clockwise, add the Bloodroot juice and membrane first to the swirling mixture, then the Re’em Blood
- Add flat lemonade, stir once clockwise, then twice counter-clockwise
- Remove from heat, allow to cool
- Strain and bottle
