Vianna watched all of the different expressions that washed over her husband's features as he listened to her words, and it was then that he spoke and it was now her turn to listen. So she was quiet and listened attentively to his words, as he explained to her that he would stay at her side every second and every hour of the day, if he could; a confession which got the warmest of smiles to adorn the girl's lightly tanned expression, her crystal blue eyes beginning to sparkle up at the much taller boy before her, enjoying the warmth that came with being so wonderfully close to him. But the girl said nothing yet, and instead listened as he continued, explaining to her that he felt like all of this was not enough, that he felt like she was having to deal with all of this pregnancy and he was just there. The girl's smile faded slightly at this, able to see the boy's point of view, what his train of thought was. "No…" she said softly, shaking her head slightly. But she seemed to grow quiet then, not building on that one small word that had just escaped her lips. Instead, she watched the boy before her, examined his features and his chocolate brown eyes with a bit of guilt behind her own blue-eyed gaze, guilt that he felt this way (oh, the irony of Fervi). She leaned on her toes then, placing her lips very gently upon the boy's. It wasn't an eager kiss, or an excited or enthusiastic kiss. It was very soft, very gentle, and extremely loving. But she kept it brief, pulling back only a couple moments later. "If it makes you feel any better, Professor," she started softly, the slightest hint of playfulness beginning to curve her lips back into a smile, "I'm not going to be like this forever. As the baby develops and I'm further into the pregnancy, there will be other tasks for you to complete," she told him. "But for now, just being with me is more than enough, Professor," she assured him, though she was sure that even if this did make the boy feel good, it wasn't necessarily going to make him stop thinking that he needed to do more. "Why don't we finish up this soup? Together," she suggested, her smile widening. "And if you really want to join in your wife's suffering, you'll have to eat it with me instead of getting something tasty for yourself!" she added, her smile widening to a playful grin, well aware of how much Ferris loved his food.
