Fred sighed when Hermione pulled away. He was afraid he had stepped over the line holding her like he had, but she held on to his hand still. She was such a comfort to Fred. Ginny had been a huge help, but there was just something about Hermione that just made all the rage and guilt and anger disappear.
Clearing his throat, Fred said, "Let's save what I did today for another day. How about, we lay down and you tell me what you did today." Fred scooted to the far side of his bed and grabbed the small blanket at the bottom of his bed. Fred was afraid that Hermione would think his intentions were anything but innocent, but surely she knew him better than that by now... |
