Fred's eyes were open but he wasn't very awake. He had zoned out trying his best to think about Quidditch, but that just led to Alicia. He tried to think of home, but then he remembered the time George and he had brought her and the rest of the team home with them for a huge slumber party. he settled on thinking about something else that made him happy...no happy thoughts were coming. But, finally the one person that had made him so happy the last couple of weeks popped into his mind. Then, almost dream like she was there.
He and Hermione hadn't really crossed any borders yet, and he still hadn't asked her about his feelings for her, but regardless he reached up for her hand. He gently pulled on her and sat her down beside him, as he sat up. Without saying anything, Fred just pulled her into a larger than life hug and held her. |
