That would have been in the 'Malachi, be nice' column of comments, undoubtedly. "Well, what sort of adoptive Uncle would I be if I didn't stop by every now and then?" He turned to Pippa. "I don't know why I didn't think to ask you if you were coming." He gave her a shifty grin. "We both know I'm not clever enough to think through that you might not have been invited. Is Alyssa coming, do you know?"

Roisin giggled, this lady was funny, pulling funny faces. She was doing something with her hair again too but Roisin didn't understand what that might be. She reached out and pulled the lady's nose, a just like she pulled on Daddy's.

Ooooooh! "Sorry Pip," Malachi held up one finger and stepped back to where Frida was standing. He very gently prised the baby's fingers off Frida's nose and then kissed Roisin's palms. The baby looked at him reproachfully and he stopped. "Adorable, like you said." He murmured, his lips close to Frida's ear.

After what had been a frankly distressing conversation with Esme, Pandora had made her way down the stairs to the where everyone was. Since Frida and Malachi seemed to be wrapped up in Roisin, she made a beeline for Pippa, catching Ronan's hand very briefly and squeezing it tightly. "Pippa! You look wonderful!" She would have quite liked to hug Pippa in that moment but she didn't and so hugged her arms around her own rib cage instead.

Looking up to Ronan, Pippa nodded. "I understand, they take over, every second of what time you have." Not that she had children, but it was the same when they were 5 or 6, wasn't it?

Laughing at Malachi, Pippa nodded. "I kinda had a niggling feeling you wouldn't suppose I would be here, I've worked daily with you long enough, Malachi." She arched her eyebrow, still laughing lightly. "And no... She didn't mention it to me, before she left.... She and Pandora didn't see eye to eye, from what I saw." Pity, Alyssa had gotten nicer since Pandora had left, it could have been that she too had dropped a baby. Blimey! If they were expecting Pippa to do so next, they were very much so wrong.

Very. Much. So.
She had enough on her plate, thank you very much!

Speak of the devil! "Pandoraaaaaa! Me? Oh, lovely, you look glowing! I trust you've been in good health, and happy since I last saw you?" Which was obviously before Pandora had left, but Pippa didn't blame her.

Nope. She blamed the wooooorld.

Ronan watched on as everyone fussed over the babies. They seemed to be a hit of the party and that was all well and good. He looked around wondering where Pandora was because she was more friendly with these guests than he was.

Just as he thought this, she seemed to materialize out of no where and a smile appeared on his face. Her presence always seemed to do that and that's how he knew that he was completely in love with her.

However when she squeezed his hand, Ronan knew that something was wrong. Offering her Tristan he hugged them both as they spoke to their guests.
