Evelyn was extremely curious to know why they had to wear 'gumboots' to the lesson today. Obviously, it had something to do with water, but whaaaaat it was, she didn't know. These shoes would've actually have been useful for that one charms class with the bubble head charm. It was slightly hard to walk through the class when you were slipping and sliding...and dripping wet.

So, making her way at a normal pace to the DADA classroom, wearing her rainboots (as she likes to call them), and feeling quite comfortable in them, the moment she entered the classroom though...

No wonder they had to wear these shoes. Hearing the splashes of the water with every step she took, Evelyn looked up to find the Professor, unsure of where she should put her bag down.
