It was just that he'd told her to look up the information on Quinn and so to add to it she'd need the report. Obviously I understand that everyone has a life outside of work but unless you let me know that you will be late I expect you to report ON TIME." Skander replied, not even looking up at the man he was speaking to as he signed his name with a flourish.
That done Skander finally lifted his head and stared at a man wholly unfamiliar to him. Did he know him? Well he did say that he was a Quidditch player..."Are you knew here? If you are then your lateness will be forgiven this once." Right, that seemed a bit fairer after he'd practically yelled at the man about being late. When Skander didn't even know who he was that was kind of unfair. Maybe.
"Anyway, down to business...What is your name again?" This scandal had really put him into a bad place. He probably had been notified of who the man was... pushing through the documents on his desk Skander finally found the piece of paper that said the mans name was Ryan Black. Right. "As I was saying Ryan, I want you to work on looking through all records we have from the World Cup, see who bet on what team to win, also do that for any other games Colin McKenzie and Quinn Gallagher have been in for the past year."
Looking to the door Skander waved Dessie in as he waited for Black to get to work or ask any questions he may have.
Dessie waited patiently outside as Bossman Beckett as he talked to Ryan, and when he called her was halfway through the door before she remembered that she had to hand the report to Rachel before giving it to Beckett.
Oh, man. And now, if she admitted that, she'd look like an idiot who just liked wasting her boss's time. Almost as big an idiot as the topic of her report... And MacKenzie was one bit idiot.
"Er, sir, I was wondering if maybe there was something specific you wanted me to include in the report before I give it to Rachel, a specific detail that you might want me to put it...?" Dessie improvised.
Well, in her defense, it sounded kinda legit. Never mind that the report went through him anyway before going to Vindictus, but she could just pretend that the stresses of the new job were making her stupid.
