From her perch on the swing, Brooke looked expectantly at Tallan for his explanation of a 'talk show'. Blaming her parents for her lack of Muggle knowledge, the thought of it actually interested her. But... well, it sounded dull. For want of a better word. Her expectant grin fell, and she raised an eyebrow.

"But Tally, that's silly," she managed. "Why would you want to do that? I mean, who wants to listen to loads of randomers problems? And what if your advice was rubbish? And then they would come back and do that thing... where they get money off you for being rubbish. Eh, I don't know." Why on earth would he want to do it anyway? He was a good wizard.

Smiling down at Leigh as he appeared outside, James raised his matching ice cream to his lips and licked at it. Mmmm, chocolate. Of course, he'd know it was Leighs favourite since their first year, and for some reason he'd taken a liking to it too. Half of him still wondered what Leigh wanted, if he'd done something wrong, but the other half, the stronger half thought that maybe she just wanted to talk, as best friends. Of course, she knew she could come to him with anything. They were that close.

"Hallo," he laughed, sitting down next to her as she scooted along the bench. See? She was happy, cheerful! James calmed his fears that she had a problem with him, because if she did then she wouldn't bee this happy around him, would she?

How were he and Annie? That was a question he hadn't been expecting, but he blushed that the thought of speaking about his girlfriend. Annie and him had been together a long time now, nearly two years, and she was his first proper girlfriend. Childish as he was, James still blushed at the thought of intimate thing like that, and remembered how he'd had a crush on Leigh when they'd first met, all of those years ago.

Pushing those thoughts away, as they were neither here nor there, with no relevance to the question, James thought about his answer. "We're good, yeah," he said, half-smiling at Leigh. "I was thinking about introducing her to my dad this summer... I mean, we've been together a long time, and I met hers last year. But then again, you know..." he trailed off. Leigh was the only person who knew how much he hated his father, although she didn't know the reason behind it. The reason why he was unsure about introducing Annie to him.

There was something else as well, that was stopping him. But James couldn't put his finger on it, so he shrugged it away. Stupid thoughs.
