Hogwarts RPG Name: Maddie Force Sixth Year | Take Me Back - Sa13+ Weeee Jenn <33... | You know Ravvies are awesome | | Loly... I luff you! | LOVES mah TWINNEH!
The amazing song belongs to the awesome Taylor Swift (can be found on the self entitled album Taylor Swift, released in 2008), and the wonderful Harry Potter universe all belongs to JK Rowling.
Hey y'all! You might know me, but if not, I'm Amelie (or Mia ) I was listening to music on Spotify (check it out, it rocks), and as I was listening to Mary's Song (Oh My My My) by Taylor Swift, this randomly came to me! So here's a one-shot for Scorpius and Rose. I'm not sure of Scorpius's exact age (can anyone tell me?) so for this he's two years older than her. Enjoy! In this fic, I’ve changed it slightly so that Hermione and Astoria are friends, and so Ron and Draco sort of get along. She said, I was seven and you were nine
I looked at you like the stars that shine
In the sky, the pretty lights
And our daddies used to joke about the two of us
Growing up and falling in love
And our mamas smiled, and rolled their eyes
And said, oh, my my my Seven year old Rose sat by the fire, talking to her best friend Scorpius. He was two years older than her, and she thought the world of him. He was wonderful, her best friend in the whole world. She knew her daddy and Uncle Draco (well, he wasn’t her real uncle. Mama said it was polite to call him that, though) made jokes about them getting married one day, and her mama and Aunty Astoria laughed and did that funny thing with their eyes. They didn’t believe daddy and Draco. But Rose would love to marry Scorpius. Heehee; that would be fun! And they could have pretty babies and then she’d be a mama too! Heehee. Rose was lost in thought now, contemplating her perfect future if she married Scorpius. Take me back to the house in the backyard tree
Said you’d beat me up, you were bigger than me
You never did, you never did
Take me back when our world was one block wide
I dared you to kiss me and ran when you tried
Just two kids, you and I
Oh, my my my my Rose and Scorpius were in the tree house Aunty Astoria had magically created for them, tucked up in the highest branches of the tree in the Malfoy’s backyard. They were playing, and Scorpius kept threatening to beat her up if she didn’t play his game. It was usually something that involved duelling, and she usually ended up being the baddie. But of course he never actually beat her up. They were best friends, he wouldn’t do that. Their world was the Malfoy’s backyard. All their time was spent there, everything they wanted was there. Pulling herself away from her thoughts, she dared Scorpius to kiss her. She didn’t think he would, but then he actually got up and came towards her. Eeep! She jumped up and climbed down the ladder as fast as she could, hiding behind a big rose bush. Kissing was not her thing. Totally not her thing, even if it was Scorpius. Well I was sixteen when suddenly
I wasn’t that little girl you used to see
But your eyes still shined, like pretty lights
And our daddies used to joke about the two of us
They never believed we’d really fall in love
And our mamas smiled, and rolled their eyes
And said oh, my my my Sixteen year old Rose Weasley was sitting in her favourite armchair in front of the fire, talking to her best guy friend, eighteen year old Scorpius Malfoy. He seemed to be looking at her differently. It was weird. She looked back at him, returning the gaze. His eyes were lit up, like stars, or lights on a Christmas tree. She was pulled from the conversation by her dad making one of his usual jokes about the two of them falling in love, and as usual her mama just smiled and rolled her eyes, humouring him. None of them knew she was already in love with Scorpius. But he’d never feel the same way. She was just his friend, and she was two years younger than him. No, he’d never feel the same way. Not in a million years, Rose would be willing to bet on that. Take me back to the creek beds we turned up
Two AM riding in your truck
And all I need is you next to me
Take me back to the time we had our very first fight,
Slamming of doors instead of kissing goodnight
And you stayed outside
‘Till the morning light,
Oh, my my my my Rose and Scorpius were laying down on the seats of his truck, his arm round her shoulders. They were down at the creek by the Weasley’s house. They were supposed to have been camping out, but it had gotten too cold, so they’d come into the truck. It was two in the morning, and Rose should have been asleep, but she couldn’t seem to drop off. She was comfy, though, with Scorpius by her side. She was surprised that she’d been wrong, but so incredibly happy. She was dating her best friend, why wouldn’t she be happy? She rolled over, and Scorpius’s arm fell from her shoulders. She guessed she must have hit something, because the car started rolling backwards a little, towards the tiny creek. She elbowed him in the ribs, trying to wake him up. When he did, he sprang into action, but the back of the truck was already resting in the water. There was nothing wrong with it though, and Scorpius pulled the brake. She supposed that was what she’d knocked when she moved. But then he started yelling at her. Almost in tears, she ran back to her house and slammed the door behind her, locking Scorpius out. She ran to her room and dived under the duvet on her bed, curling up into a little ball. Looking out the window, she saw he was still there. Well, he could stay there until morning if he wanted. A few years had gone and come around
We were sitting at our favourite spot in town
And you looked at me, got down on one knee
Take me back to the time when we walked down the aisle
Our whole town came and our mamas cried
You said I do, and I did too Rose was sitting on the bench at their favourite spot in town, near the park. She was with Scorpius, chatting about nothing in particular. He stood up, and she did too, but then he knelt down, on one knee. Her heart was racing, was he proposing?
‘Rose Weasley, will you marry me?’ said Scorpius softly. She nodded slowly, unable to speak. He smiled and slipped the ring on her finger almost triumphantly. She smiled back. After that, the next three months were a blur. Suddenly she was walking down the aisle on her daddy’s arm, and Scorpius was waiting at the altar, his face shining like someone had switched on a light switch inside of him. The vicar started the sermon, and she gazed up at him
‘I do’ he said clearly, when it got to that part
‘I do’ she whispered back, and then he was kissing her, and she was in his arms. Take me home where we met so many years before
We’ll rock our babies on that very front porch
After all this time, you and I
And I’ll be eighty seven, you’ll be eighty nine
I’ll still look at you like the stars that shine
In the sky
Oh, my, my, my Rose looked up into her husband’s eyes. They were sitting on their front porch, and she had a baby in her arms. Her little girl, her baby. She rocked her gently back and forth in her arms, lulling her to sleep softly. She still couldn’t believe her and Scorpius had stayed together after all this time. When they were both older, when she was eighty seven and he was eighty nine, they’d still be in love. She’d still look at him the same way she’d look at the sun or the beautiful stars at night. Because he was a star. He was her star. He was her everything.
Hope you liked!
