Sardines ♥ // Nomsy, yo Tallan sighed at Brooke's response as he walked back to the swings and sat down on the one he was on before. He felt like arguing, but he knew it would do no good. Brooke was stubborn, and if she didn't want to listen to him... well, she'd listen to him eventually. Somehow - he didn't know how, yet. "A talk show?" At this, Tal sat up straight on his swing, trying to look important. "It's where you're all famous, and people come onto your show - famous people - and you talk to them and stuff. Sometimes, you give advice to people." That explained it, right? Ohh, Merlin. She shouldn't have done this. She should've just let James be all lovey-dovey with Annie, and she should've sucked it up and taken it like a woman. But noooo. She was Leigh. Which meant she didn't always do what she thought she should do.
She smiled quickly to James before walking out the door when he told her he'd be just a minute. She sat down on a bench outside the parlor, slowly licking her ice cream. She expected him to be a while, so when he walked out after just a short moment, she was sort of suprised. "Hey!" she said cheerfully, scooting over to one side of the bench. "Have a seat." There. Now, as long as she could stay cheerful, maybe James would actually want to stay and talk for a little bit. "So, how are you and Annie doing?" That... wasn't the question she'd been planning on asking, but... well, she could build up to the main point of this little conversation. Besides, she was curious, anyway.
