She winced a little just thinking about it again. "You know it completely sucked and I wouldn't wish that on anyone, even an enemy." she replied softly. Carter laughed. "Well, you obviously won't just tell me, so I'll have to figure it out." he said. "It shouldn't be that hard... there's only what... a few hundred boys in this school... and I imagine less than half of them like football." See. He was already well on his way to figuring out who it was.

He smiled and leaned over and took her hand. "It's alright. It's all over and you don't have to worry about it." he said. He squeezed her hand and then let go. And he'd do whatever he could to make sure it didn't happen again.

He then chuckled softly trying to lighten the mood. "You did drop a ceiling on me." he said. "I'm pretty sure you recognized me too. Either I made you really mad or I'd hate to see what you'd have done to someone you didn't like."
