here's the post for the fiction which i havent been able to post because of my net problems...

The Reaction...


“I told you didn’t, I Sara?”
“I told you he would be alive, I knew all way long he would be fine and survive” he said with a small admiring smile. He knew his friend; he wouldn’t leave them so early. He was made out of much stronger stuff even with his werewolf condition. He was the strongest person Shaun had ever met. Strong in every way possible, strong mentally, strong emotionally, strong will power, strong passion and very strong affection, love and protection for his close and dear ones, though he hardly looked strong physically because of his condition, Shaun knew Rahul’s capacity. But yet knowing his capabilities Shaun was very much worried about his current condition because he was on a run again and that pained Shaun a lot. His friend was paying a lot for his genuine protective nature. This caring and protective nature of his had made him see so many hardships. Shaun looked at Sara once again; she had put her head down on the table and wrapped her arms around herself tightly.
Shaun looked at Harry and Ron who gave him sympathetic pats on his arm while the girls looked just as miserable as Sara was.
After what seemed like hours the silence broke when Sara spoke up sniffing.
“I want to go back” she declared
“leave the school and all?” asked Ron incredulously and Sara looked at him as if he would never understand her.
“you cant” Shaun said
“I don’t care” she said defiantly.
“you should” he said looking back at her in the eye
“I don’t care Shaun, I don’t know, but I want to go back. I have stayed away enough, I have taken enough of crap and troubles. All I want is go back home!” she cried
“you don’t know how I miss Karan, my dad and now Rahul is there too why should I stay here?” she demanded
“because”
“don’t start the destiny crap!” she thundered
“I am not” he blared back now standing up with his hands balled in fists on the table.
“I knew you would do this, Sara, wouldn’t you?” he said leaning ahead on the table.
“Haven’t you read the letter properly with your brain open?” he asked
“they have marked you as traitor!”
“Didn’t you hear, I don’t care”
“You should!” his voice an octave more then hears, the rest of them looking from Sara to Shaun and then back to Sara.
“you go there, you will be on a chase; you go there, they will be behind you like mad dogs behind meat; you go there, you cant meet anyone…I doubt even Rahul; you go back there your chance of meeting your brother and father will be as good as your chances now…here; you go there and by chance you meet any of them, they will be interrogated to the point of torture, didn’t you read what Juhi wrote! Is your mid so clogged with idea of stupid adventures!” he had crossed the line
“don’t you dare speak to me like that” now Sara was up and standing breathing deeply and flushed
“I never liked the idea of adventure during the war, Shaun Henry Macmillan! You very well know my reasons for leaving the school and I know I am not a traitor and I don’t need to tell and give explanations to others for my actions”
“Sara, Sara please calm down” Harry stood up and walked to her and made her sit down and gave her a mug of butterbeer
“Harry” her tone indicating not to mess with her now.
“Sara, please”, he coaxed her and patted her shoulder gently to calm her down and went back to his place while Shaun had moved away from his seat and was pacing up and down. There was pin drop silence. After sometime Shaun returned back to his seat and put his head in his hands and then rubbed his tired eyes. He had real bad time since the letter arrived and he knew he would have even worse trying to reason out with Sara. But he knew that if Rahul has told Juhi this then this would be his information for anyone and everyone else who would ask about Sara. This would be the information which they would have to follow to keep Sara safe. But will she try and understand for once and let others help her? will she for once stay back and not put herself in danger and look at safety of herself first and then the others?


“Look Sara, you can’t go” Shaun started now in much more calm voice.
“I want to” she said in a much calmer voice but with firmness
He sighed
“Please try and understand Sara, you going there and searching for him again wont make any sense. You will only put yourself in trouble and if Karan comes to know about it too he won’t be spared. The officials will target him even if he is in school and remember he hasn’t finished his school yet, Sara” he said
“But, I ”
“Cant you see?” he continued
“that Rahul wants you to stay where you are or else why would he have told Juhi that you are dead when he very well knows that you are alive.”
Shaun wasn’t sure because he hardly knew Sara’s side of the story at all.
“he knows you are alive right?” he asked for confirmation.
He saw her nod.
“yeah, I met him couple of times, during the war and after the war” she said
He looked at her as if giving her the cue to continue. He was shocked to listen to Sara’s entire story as to how she worked with Madam Rosmerta and how she came to live with the Weasley’s and how she got into Hogwarts, and how all along she searched for Rahul. He shook his head of all the information he got to hear but keeping his head clear he spoke up again
“He knows you are studying here at Hogwarts?” he asked
“he might” she answered back looking down.
Shaun nodded
“then it becomes clear doesn’t it, that Rahul wants you out of harms way. He wants you to stay where you are, safe” he said
“because believe me Sara, these people aren’t great. They are I can say just a couple of shades lighter then the dark arts people” he said
“I know what my parents and I have gone through, I know what Ali has gone through and what our other friends are going through” and Sara looked up as she heard Ali’s name
“Ali? What happened to him? what happened to you and your parents?” she asked worried.
“Long story” he said
“But coming to point it isn’t safe for you to go back. They mean business, they see you, they chase you, they catch you, and they charge you and throw you in prison for the rest of your life” he said
“Is that what you want?” he asked
“Is that what you want for your brother’s sister to happen? Is that what you want of Rahul’s confidante to happen? Is that what you want of my dear, close friend to happen? Is that what you want of Juhi’s best friend to happen?” he asked and Sara knew she was losing against him and she shook her head. The four of them looked from Shaun to Sara and then back to Shaun. The girls knew he had won because Sara wasn’t talking back while the guys just sat silently in their own thoughts.
“no, I want to fulfill my promise to my brother and see Juhi once again, I don’t want to leave you but…but I want to see Rahul again” she said looking back at Shaun.
“You will, but not now Sara, not now. There will be a time for you and believe me Sara at least you got to see him between when you must have coaxed him to come back but I, I haven’t met him since the last time we said goodbye” he said his eyes boring into hers as she looked at him speak those last words…
