My.
Gosh.
Ohmigosh, ELIII!
"Eli!" Gold said, flailing. She wanted Eli!hugs. Because he was the coolest Ravenclaw first year EVER. Then he asked THE question, and she pouted and shook her head, no.
Because, you know, she didn't actually have a team.
"I'm helping Chris make a sail, but I'm also trying to build a fancy-ish raft," she told him cheerfully, pointing to the logs that she had stuck together with magic, to show him how she didn't have a team. SAD! "But if you want to join in, we can totally add more logs and make the raft bigger and even more epic and awesome. It's going to be made of win!"
She resisted the urge to hug Eli, and instead wondered if Chris had time for chocolates and snuggles.

Eli grinned. Did he want to join in on Gold's Epic Raft? Did a hippogriff have wings? YAH!
He nodded.
"It IS. And I'd love to help!" he ran over to one of the logs and tried to pick it up, but it was kind of heavy so it didn't move much before he had to put it down. He felt a little embarrassed, asking the professor how to do a simple spell. He knew his charms and other wand stuff was really really bad.
Gold would probably be willing to help him out.
"Gold? Do you know that spell for moving a tree? Would it work on a log, and if it would can you show me how? Or should I just use wingardium leviosa?" He knew how to levitate stuff, but he'd read that there was another spell for moving trees and he wanted to know how it was done. Mobili-arbor or some such thing. But he was scared to ask the professor.
