| Ark party (aka Chez, Legend, Jack, Sho, Brinkley and Raiden) Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict Grayson had turned to look at Professor Lainey with wide eyes as she'd called Brinkley and Raiden over, like they'd gotten in trouble for something. She was fairly expert at knowing that tone, even though she also usually knew how to get out of it. But first, the focus of that tone of voice needed to know what they were getting called on. And as far as she knew, neither boy had done anything wrong. Unless Brinkley hanging on Sho was wrong, and Raiden trying to get them together as a group.
As such, and especially since beyond Professor Lainey's comment about the girls being the brains, Grayson wasn't sure what to do, she'd sort of glanced at the sail supplies idly. They needed to know where to start, and Sho and Jack hadn't apparently done anything. So she sort of looked at the sail, as she also tried to keep an ear on the professor talking to the boys. Potion stuff? That was something she understood, but she was fairly certain a prefect wouldn't have dosed another student. So it was all weird. But then, in her distraction, she heard Legend talking. Or, calling her dirt kicker more accurately, and she looked over at him and Chez the big Hufflepuff with narrowed eyes. It seemed they'd gotten something that looked like a boat together, so she sidled nearer. Besides, if she heard that name again, she was going to give Legend something else to think about. But they'd started talking abotu decorations, and she stopped glaring a little. "Why don't we just use that charm Professor Carlton taught us? The color-changing one. I mean, if it can change fabric, maybe it works on wood too. Unless you see paint anywhere. And I'm sure between all of us, we can figure out the sail thing," she said, examining the boat a little as she spoke. At least it looked big enough for all of them. They just needed everyone else to give their opinions.
