27. Muffliato
“I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU BOYS DID THAT! WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU DROP OUT OF SCHOOL?!” Mrs. Weasley was furious, the twins could see that.
“Mum, that woman was evil.” George said.
“Yeah, we weren’t learning anything anyways.” Fred added.
“THAT ISN’T THE POINT! YOU’RE THROWING AWAY YOUR FUTURES! WHAT ABOUT N.E.W.T.S?!”
She just kept going on and on. Fred and George looked at each other. They both pulled their wands out of their pockets. When Mrs. Weasley started to pace, they pointed the wands at themselves and muttered, “Muffliato.”
They both let out a sigh as they’re mother’s voice disappeared and was replaced by a buzzing noise. They leaned back in their chairs, folding their arms behind their heads. It was hard to control their laughter as they watched her make strange gestures and they imagined what she was saying.
She stopped talking and just glared. Of course they didn’t know what she’d said. They quickly cancelled the spell and looked intently at their mother.
”What was that mum?”
Mrs. Weasley was definitely furious. She stormed out of the room mumbling something about them being total failures. Fred and George just looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders.
